Taking its name and form from the unusual geomerty of the site, the brief to be an architecturally striking entry into the ecelctic, artistically exciting Venice Beach neighborhood, and provide defense against the busy, noisy streetscape, The Wedge is a four unit condominium on a gateway corner site on the heavily trafficked Venice Blvd. 

The scheme provides single and multi-level units that range in size. The largest units incorporating large internal courtyards that fully open to the kitchen/living and make the most of the climate; a private sanctury in the midst of the wonderful Venice 'chaos'. 

With an existing design almost complete for permit submission, the project was revived after the downturn of 2008 and retaken through SD almost wholesale resulting in a more successful and cohesive scheme.

Responsible for Project Design from SD redesign through to DD, client and consultant coordination, liaising with the City to secure building permit.
