MANOR DRIVE

Designed for a private client in a leafy suburb of Manchester, this 4,500 sqft 5 bedroom single family home utilizes SIPS construction, renewable technologies and sustainable passive design to achieve improved environmental performance.

Fusing contemporary and traditional architectural language and form, the building sits comfortably in its context and streetscape. The use of masonry and wood engenders a sense of mass and scale, whilst the large glazed openings ensure transparency and provide connection between inside and outside, particularly to the rear garden.

Working alongside the practice’s Associate Director during SD, I was solely responsible for the DD and CD information for Bid; undertaking client and consultant coordination and full scope for interior and exterior specification and design.

I was lead Architect throughout the build; overseeing specialist sub-contractor shop drawings and production, and providing support during construction of the house from pre-start mobilization through to completion.
