KENTWOOD SOUTH

Twelve 2,500 sqft single-family townhomes on a prominent corner site in Westchester, Los Angeles. Designed under the Los Angeles small lot subdivision ordinance for a developer/builder client.

The homes are 3 bedroom/3 bath, incorporating integral garages, generous roof terrace and a large central skylight bringing natural light deep into the plan at the open living/kitchen and providing a balcony connection between the 2nd and 3rd floors.

The striking form and use of material - bespoke designed wood siding and perforated metal canopies - ensure that this development is not simply another 'row townhome' project; that the success of the design is not simply about the creation of high-quality interior space, but also place making and relationship with the urban context.

Responsible for Project Design under a full design scope of interior and exterior works, client and consultant coordination, entitlement documentation and liaising with the City to secure building permit. Working closely with the Design Build client, prepared DD and material specification for sub-consultant pricing, along with CD package.
