ALLEN AVENUE

Located in Pasadena ‘The City of Gardens’, where development typically prescribes to a more traditional aesthetic, this contemporary nine townhome development with subterranean parking gives a successful fresh take on the City’s prescriptive and conservative development standards for both building and landscape.

 

The homes range between 1600 - 2300 sqft with 2 and 3 bedroom units. Natural light floods into the plan through the use of large sliding glass, skylights, glazed roof terrace 'loggias' and subtracting sections of the floorplates to provide double height spaces. 

Through considered place making, landscape design and walls of sliding glass, the scheme encourages a cohesive relationship between inside and outside. 

 

Responsible for Project Design - building and landscape - and practice team management in production of the detailed site analysis and entitlement submittal documentation, along with materials for DD in preparation for permit submittal.
